What is included, and how are matches checked?
This first release includes source-reported enrollment and placement, discipline, restraint/seclusion, shortage staffing measures, and four CMAS measures: total records, valid scores, participation and percent meeting or exceeding expectations. Availability varies by reporting unit and year. Student outcomes here are CMAS assessment records, not a measure of all special education services.
Rows match only when their source series, definitions, reporting period, population, assessment, grade, subject, units, scope and denominator definitions match exactly. Overlapping populations and source series stay separate. This strict approach may leave otherwise similar records unmatched.
October district enrollment and AU December counts use different populations. AU data are never copied to a district. AU/SOP foundation entries for four explicitly named state-operated programs are excluded; the retained roster is labelled as Administrative Units for navigation, with original source names and AU/SOP scope preserved in the records. Historical AU membership is incomplete.
Published values are reused without new rate calculations or older-year fallback. Copying a figure from a published report does not independently verify the agency’s reporting. Complaint totals, IDEA compliance, graduation, other assessments and growth are outside this limited release; their existing limitations remain in the original dashboards. Complaint listings are not substantiated findings; unknown corrective-action completion is not verified completion.
Evidence: v1.87 corrected database; original v1.78 baseline preserved. Presentation: v1.88. This preview has not been approved for publication. Matching and eligibility documentation
